How to Make an 18” x 24” PosterUpdated a year ago

  1. Once you have logged into the Creator Hub, click on “Start a Project” and then choose “Poster - 18” x 24”
  1. You will then be taken to a page where you can start customizing how your 18” x 24” poster will look

  •  Please note that this page also includes important information regarding product details, pricing and royalty information, the cost for an order of 100 posters (which is the minimum order quantity needed for this size of poster), as well as specifications for your design artwork

    • Artwork design specifications are as follows:

      • Your design file must be a PDF file, 300 DPI, CMYK Color Mode

      • The file must have a .25” bleed on all sides

      • For an 18” x 24” poster, your file must be 18.5” x 24.5”

      • Be sure to keep all text and important imagery at least .25” away from the cut line. This is shown on the template file as a “safe zone.” The area outside the cut line is the “bleed”, everything in this area will be trimmed off

      • You can use the provided PDF template (located at the bottom of this page) to create your artwork

        • Export the final file as a PNG image with the template info layer hidden

        • Please note: Once you've submitted your artwork, the online customizer will output a print-ready PDF that we will send to AlphaGraphics to print your posters

  1. Before you start customizing your poster, you’ll need to choose what style you’d like your poster to be in (Landscape or Portrait)

  1. Once you’ve made that selection, click the “Customize Product” button and you’ll then see a customizer pop-up that is broken up into the following sections:

    • Add Images

      • This is where you’ll upload your design as a PNG

    • Continue to Product Page Customization

      • You will click this once you have finalized how your design will look on an 18” x 24” poster

    • Save

      • If you’d like to save a sample of what your design looks like, choose this option

  2. Once you click “Continue to Product Page Customization,” you’ll be taken to a page called Product Page Information

    • Please fill out all of the required fields, which will include information about what you’d like to name your poster, how you are going to promote the poster, its launch date, as well as if you want your product to be available as an Evergreen, Limited Time, or Limited Quantity item

      • If you need more information about inventory and launch types, please click the link below “Availability” and you’ll be taken to our Launch Types Guide

    • You’ll now want to fill out the product description field, to describe your product to your customers

    • If you have any other requirements for your poster, please fill out the field “Anything else?”

    • Once you’ve filled out everything on this page, click “Submit Product” to submit your 18” x 24” poster design

  3. At this point, you will be taken to a Shopify “Checkout” page where you will fill out your shipping/billing address so we know where to ship your promotional poster sample

    • Once you have filled out all the necessary details, click on “Complete Order”

    • You will then be taken to an order confirmation page letting you know that your submission has been submitted to our system

  1. If you’d like to make another self-service product submission, just click the “Continue Shopping” button on the order confirmation page and it will take you back to the Creator Hub homepage

  2. Once submitted, our Creator Services team will review the submission. If edits need to be made, we will reach out with suggestions

  3. Once approved, we’ll set up the product page and order the posters

  4. The posters are printed in Missoula at AlphaGraphics and usually take 1 to 2 weeks to print

  5. Once the posters are in our warehouse and the product page is launched, customers will be able to order your poster, and we’ll get it shipped to the customer

  6. Please note that we will invoice you at the beginning of each month for poster expenses incurred during the previous month. No money is due at the time you submit your product, and in fact, the creator hub isn't even set up to accept money
